Background
I spent a season as a tipster. The analysis was never the problem - the prices were. A pick would go out and be gone before half the group could get on it, so whether you made anything came down to how quickly you happened to open your phone.
I never stopped doing the work, though. I've carried on researching every week and taking my own bets, and it's been going better than ever so it seemed daft to keep it to myself.
It's player props and nothing else - no match results, no handicaps, no accumulators. That's where I've put the hours in, and I'd rather be genuinely good at one narrow thing than average across a whole card.
I used to build ladders, stacking a player across escalating lines. These days everything goes out as a single - one player, one prop, one price, and the reasoning behind it. Simpler to follow, and it should keep the price alive a bit longer than two picks combined into a ladder.
